STANDARDIZED DRESS CODE: QUICK REFERENCE
2019-20
The district’s dress code is established to:
- Teach, develop and reinforce and the importance of being “well groomed”
- Prevent disruptions
- Minimize safety hazards, and assist in providing the most safe and secure environment
- Provide a healthy learning environment for our students and staff
Students and parents may determine a student’s personal dress and grooming standards, provided that they comply with the adopted dress code of the district.
Beginning in 2017-18 all elementary, intermediate and middle school campuses will have a district standardized dress code.
Students will be expected to wear a polo style solid color shirt with collar.
Must be the appropriate size for student in any of the colors listed below:
- Black
- Burgundy/Maroon
- Dark Green (Forest or Hunter)
- Gold
- Gray
- Light Blue
- Navy
- Purple
- Red
- White
- Yellow
Students will be expected to wear solid color cotton twill pants, shorts, capris, skirts or shorts. Must be an appropriate size for the student in any of the colors listed below:
- Black
- Khaki
- Navy
Jeans and spirit shirts allowed on designated days by the building principal.
All EC/PK/K are standardized dress campuses. Please consult each campus for the designated color shirt.
