Vines EC/PK Center Students Get Movin’ and Groovin’ With Animal Friends From Downtown Aquarium
The Downtown Aquarium’s Move and Groove Program recently brought a variety of zoo animals to Vines EC/PK Center.
Students learned about fish, a talking bird, a desert lizard, and the two-toed sloth.
“The students favorite animal to learn about was the sloth,” said Kay White, information specialist at the campus.
The Downtown Aquarium’s Move & Groove Program is targeted for children aged three and fives years. Kids will learn about how animals move while they move themselves and see live animals move in the classroom.
“All the students had fun imitating each animals movements,” added White.
