Curriculum

The curriculum at Vines EC/ PK Center is rooted in the standards set in the Texas Education Agency Pre Kindergarten Guidelines. These guidelines list the skills to be taught to every student enrolled in a Texas pre kindergarten program. Please visit http://www.tea.state.tx.us/index2.aspx?id=2147495508&menu_id=2147483718  for a detailed list of these skills. Our highly qualified teachers utilize the Frog Street PK Curriculum and supplement with others such as, Developing Talkers, Language for Learning, Reading Mastery, Estrellitas, and Daily 5, iStation and Math Shelf to facilitate lessons that meet the needs of their students. In addition, all lessons are embedded with social skills and technology to keep the learning relevant to today’s students.
